SAFC Staff Update October 2017

The SAFC announces three new appointments in our Production and Development Department reporting to Head of Production, Development and Studios, Michelle Krumm.
Elijah Bravington has been appointed to the new Arts South Australia funded role of Aboriginal Screen Development Executive. Elijah is an Arabana man and most recently worked at the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Waters where he undertook many community engagement activities across the State. He serves on a number of Boards including those of the Aboriginal Lands Trust and Tandanya. Elijah will work with our Aboriginal Screen Strategy Consultant, Leeanne Buckskin.
Beth Neate has been appointed as Production & Development Executive. Beth was the Communications Advisor to the United Nationals in Cambodia and the ABC OPEN Producer for East Kimberly, WA. She produced the multimedia touring exhibition ‘In the Saddle-On the Wall’, a collaboration between the ABC and five Aboriginal owned arts centres. Beth returns to the SAFC after having worked here back in 2007.
Jess Cahill has been appointed as Funding Support Officer. Jess grew up in Adelaide, where her passion for film was firmly established at the Chelsea Cinema. She has recently returned from London where she worked at McCaan, Saatchi and Saatchi and the BBC.
