In a futuristic city besieged by murderous cyborgs, Ballard (Tom Burlinson) decides he must go back in time if humanity is to have any chance of survival. With his cohorts Annie (Nikki Coghill) and Petra (Carrie Fisher), he journeys to 1980s Australia to search for the key to help them defeat their destined robotic overlords.
