After finding religion during a particularly trying stint behind bars, reformed criminal Jack Tyson and his new wife, Alison become the sole inhabitants of a power plant in the rugged Australian outback, where the two build a pious life together far from negative influences. But the Tysons’ peaceful routine is threatened when the arrival of a new employee, Tom Whitton, ignites Jack’s religious fervor, and slowly begins to draw out his darker impulses.
