Located within five minutes of Adelaide’s CBD, within 20 minutes of Adelaide’s international airport and a stone’s throw away from South Australia’s world class post-production and visual effects businesses, Adelaide Studios offers an ideal working environment for creation of your next feature film, television series or new media project.

Managed by the SAFC on behalf of the SA industry, the studios have attracted a number of high profile projects since opening in 2011. They include feature films Mortal Kombat, 2067, I Am MotherThe Babadook, Hotel Mumbai and Storm Boy and TV drama series The Tourist and Firebite.

The facilities have been designed specifically to operate as an integrated hub, and can accommodate Virtual Production set-ups. This enables the SAFC to offer a tailored and flexible response to local, interstate and international producers who specialise in independent production.

The purpose built facilities at Adelaide Studios include:

Adelaide Studios has high speed 200 Mbps internet connectivity and site-wide Wi-Fi on a 1GB network, with “plug in and play” convenience.

Adelaide Studios is also a creative hub for South Australian screen businesses and screen practitioners whose reputation for the creation of quality screen content across film, television and digital platforms continues to grow nationally and internationally.
