12 March 2025

Level up your video games sector knowledge by hitting replay on the SAGE Advice program of talks and discussion panels from the SAFC’s 2025 SAGE: SA Game Exhibition event, with every session now available for repeat viewing online.
Presented as part of the third annual SAGE on 7-8 February 2025, the two-day SAGE Advice program featured local, national and international industry experts and leaders alongside SA developers and creatives, covering everything from the history of SA video games and current tech trends, to jobs and education pathways and more, offering insights and advice for everyone from newbies to professionals.
Speakers included Big Ant Studios COO Mark Bracken (SA); Screen Australia Games Investment Manager Goldie Bartlett (VIC); CEO and Founder of Stella Maris Games Ted DiNola (USA) and Games Hub Managing Editor Stephanie Panecasio (NSW), plus education experts from Flinders University, CDW Studios and UniSA and a range of SA game developers and creatives.
The fun, free and family friendly showcase of SA’s video game development sector drew a record 3,000+ people across the two-day event held at Adelaide Studios, and the SAGE Advice program was a huge drawcard, with many sessions full to capacity.
In a new initiative for 2025, all SAGE Advice sessions were filmed by SAGE Media Partner Channel 44 and are now available for repeat viewing via the SAFC’s Youtube channel and the SAGE website, providing an ongoing information resource for the SA games sector and those interested in joining it – check out all the sessions below, or watch the whole playlist on our Youtube channel.
And for even more ways to relive the SAGE fun, visit the SAGE Steam event page, featuring a range of games from this year’s exhibitors for you to download and play.
SAGE 2025 was proudly presented by the SAFC with support from Platinum Sponsor Big Ant Studios, Industry Partner Screen Australia and State Government Partner Arts South Australia. See the full list of SAGE sponsors and partners at sagameexhibition.com/partners
