Written and directed by Christopher Houghton (‘Swing’, ‘Sons & Mothers’) and with stand out performances by Leeanna Walsman, Matt Day, Greg Hatton and Adelaide newcomer Onor Nottle, TOUCH is a tension building mystery about a mother on the run with her daughter until her past catches up with her.  With a surprising and challenging twist at its centre, TOUCH at its core is a story about love, but not in the way you expect, and has left audiences deeply moved and thinking about the film long after.

Produced by Julie Byrne from Triptych Pictures (co-producers of the 4th AACTA Best Film winner THE BABADOOK) and supported through the South Australian Film Corporation’s innovative film development initiative FilmLab, TOUCH premiered at the Sydney Film Festival 2014 to critical acclaim. Further screenings by official selection include Byron Bay International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival (USA), Cannes Cinéphiles – Cinema des Antipodes (Fr), Manchester International Film Festival (In Competition, UK), iFab (International Film Awards Berlin) and at St Tropez Festival de Antipodes 12-18 Oct 2015.

See why David Stratton and Pete Castaldi said TOUCH is an Australian film that deserved much farther and wider exhibition than it’s release allowed, and give this film a voice at the 5th AACTA Awards.
