Stan to premiere brand new season of Stan Original Series Wolf Creek on December

31 October 2017

Stan has today announced that the critically acclaimed Stan Original Series WOLF CREEK returns for its highly anticipated new season, with all six episodes premiering exclusively on Stan on December 15.

In the second season of the smash hit Stan Original Series the WOLF CREEK legend continues with a whole new cast and story. A group of international tourists embarks on the Outback adventure of a lifetime, but a chance encounter with trigger-happy pig hunter Mick Taylor (John Jarratt) sets them on a journey none of them could have imagined.

Joining creator, director and showrunner Greg McLean are AACTA award winning directors Kieran Darcy-Smith (Wish You Were Here, Jack Irish) and Geoff Bennett (The Secret Daughter, Love Child, Brock) who each directed two episodes of the six-part drama series.

Produced by Lisa Scott (Anzac Girls, Janet King) and Kerrie Mainwaring (The Secret Daughter, Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door) with Rory Callaghan, Greg Haddrick, Greg McLean, Nick Forward and Rob Gibson as executive producers, Wolf Creek Season 2 is a Screentime, a Banijay Group company, production in association with Emu Creek Pictures, financed with the assistance of the South Australian Film Corporation.

CEO of the South Australian Film Corporation, Annabelle Sheehan said “SAFC is delighted to see the launch of the new Wolf Creek series. Wolf Creek is an original concept deeply embedded in the landscape of South Australia, which has enjoyed great national and international success, and provided significant employment for South Australians throughout its journey from feature film to global television brand. We have been pleased to support the fantastic creative energy of Greg McLean together with Screentime’s Greg Haddrick and Lisa Scott and their work with South Australian key creatives and our world-class crews.”
