South Australia shines in 2024 Logie Award nominations

South Australia is set to shine at the 2024 Logie Awards, with three South Australian made and SAFC supported productions scoring nominations across two categories.
Two of the six nominees for Best Children’s Program are South Australian: animated Netflix and NITV series Eddie’s Lil’ Homies from SA director Arthur Moody and SA co-director Luke Jurevicius, produced by Sophie Byrne, former Adelaide AFL legend Eddie Betts and Anna Scullie; and the second season of puppet-based ABC series Beep and Mort from SA’s Windmill Pictures, directed and produced by SA’s Rosemary Myers, produced by SA’s Kaye Weeks, and co-written by SA’s Simon Butters.
ABC comedy series Gold Diggers from SA’s KOJO Studios also scored a nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy for star Danielle Walker.
The series is produced by SA’s Kate Butler and Dale Roberts, with Muffy Potter, Trudi-Ann Tierney, Linda Ujuk, JP Sarni, Greg Silverman, Lindsey Martin, Brett Sleigh and Todd Abbott.

The Logies are the Australian television industry’s annual celebration of screen excellence, with awards recognising talent across entertainment, drama, comedy, reality, lifestyle, current affairs and sport.
Viewers can vote for their favourite nominees across all categories until Saturday 17 August, with the winners to be revealed in a gala ceremony in Sydney on Sunday 18 August. See the full list of 2024 Logie Awards nominees here.
