Screen Business Programs webinar event

Join SAFC Head of Production and Development Beth Neate in this webinar info session as she provides an overview of the SAFC’s newly announced Screen Business Planning and Mentoring Program and Screen Business Accelerator Program. Participants will be provided with everything they need to know in order to put together a competitive application.

Screen Business Planning and Mentoring Program (SBPMP): Under this new program, six South Australian screen companies will receive up to $5,000 each towards business training and mentoring with a recognised business advisory firm or business mentor, to create a comprehensive business plan for growth and attracting investment. SBPMP applications close Friday, 23 October 2020. It is expected that the SBPMP program will commence from mid-November 2020. Once the SBPMP has been completed, the six companies will become eligible to apply for the SAFC’s Screen Business Accelerator Program.

Screen Business Accelerator Program (SBAP): This program is only open to those businesses that have completed the SBPMP. The Screen Business Accelerator Program supports established South Australian screen businesses to expand, diversify and innovate leading to growth in their business, offering business loans up to $200,000 per annum for up to two years. The loans may be used for slate funding, business capability, financial planning, engagement and retention of personnel, research and development, marketing, new opportunities and innovation. The SBAP will open for applications from February 2021.
