SAFC announces new staff appointment

The South Australian Film Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Elyse Lawson as SAFC Production Executive.

Elyse joins the SAFC Production and Development Team with a wealth of knowledge gained from more than 20 years of experience in production and development of television and feature films in Los Angeles and New York.

Her impressive CV includes roles such as Director of Development at Anonymous Content and Vice President of Development and Production for Curious Pictures, both in New York, as well as production roles at VH1 and Columbia Tri-Star Television. Since 2019 Elyse has been Development Executive for Los Angeles and Adelaide Studios-based production company Steel Springs Pictures, relocating to Adelaide with her family in 2021.

SAFC CEO Kate Croser said: “We are delighted to welcome Elyse to the SAFC as our new Production Executive. Elyse brings to the agency impressive international experience and networks, as well as a wealth of knowledge across the screen industry in South Australia and globally. The SAFC team and I look forward to working with Elyse, and we are confident she will bring great value to the role of supporting the screen industry in South Australia.”

Elyse starts in her role on Monday 18 September, 2023.
