SAFC appoints new Game Development Executive

The South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is delighted to welcome Patrick Webb as the agency’s new Game Development Executive.

Having co-founded SA games studio Melonhead Games, and as manager of Adelaide games industry networking initiative Unwind, Patrick has extensive industry experience and deep knowledge of and connections within the South Australian game development community.

As Game Development Executive Patrick will be working within the SAFC’s Production and Development team to facilitate the growth of the South Australian game development sector, providing strategic advice for further industry development, and working to create new opportunities and initiatives for the sector.

SAFC CEO Kate Croser said: “We are delighted to welcome Patrick Webb as the SAFC’s first Game Development Executive, a brand new role to further support our commitment to South Australia’s game development sector. Patrick brings with him a wealth of high-level experience, networks and knowledge, and I am confident he will be an invaluable asset to the organisation.”
