SAFC announces interim staff appointments

The South Australian Film Corporation is pleased to announce two interim appointments following the departure of Amanda Duthie as Head of Production, Development, Attraction and Studios.
Beth Neate, currently Production and Development Executive, will be Acting Head of Production and Development.
Melissa Eldridge, currently Associate Executive, Attraction and Adelaide Studios, will be Acting Studio Manager.
“Both Beth and Mel bring huge depth of experience in the SAFC’s business as well as strong industry networks and have demonstrated a true commitment to the success of the South Australian screen industry over many years now. I thank them for taking on these new responsibilities,” said SAFC CEO Kate Croser.
The SAFC will undertake a recruitment process for these roles in the new calendar year.
ABOUT BETH NEATE
As a producer and production manager with a string of qualifications, Beth has had a long association with the screen sector both in South Australia and nationally. As the ABC OPEN Producer for the East Kimberley region, she produced hundreds of stories for ABC TV, radio and online. She first joined the SAFC in 2007, returning in 2017 as Production and Development Executive where she has worked extensively across feature film and television drama as well as unscripted programs. Beth has dual qualifications in Media and International Relations and was Media Advisor for the United Nations in Cambodia.
ABOUT MELISSA ELDRIDGE
With a background in television production, Melissa has been at the SAFC for 10 years working across the areas of Production Development, Attraction and the operation of Adelaide Studios. Most recently she has focused on the SAFC’s attraction strategy to draw international screen productions to South Australia, and has worked closely with Ausfilm to facilitate all visits to the state by international screen directors, producers and distributors.
