Made in Adelaide: Screen Scene – taking homegrown talent to Edinburgh

07 August 2017

Made in Adelaide’s inaugural Screen Scene program takes over Edinburgh’s renowned Cameo Cinema from 10-13 August with a showcase of award-winning feature and short films that express the unique cinematic vision of South Australia.

Now in its second year, the Made in Adelaide program is presented by Arts South Australia at the world’s oldest and largest Fringe Festival, Edinburgh, now celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Adelaide boasts the world’s second largest Fringe event, and is Australia’s premier Festival City.

South Australian Film Corporation CEO Annabelle Sheehan said: “Adelaide is known internationally for being a small, smart, art city, responsible for some of Australia’s most innovative creative output across the spectrum of the arts. This is never more obvious than through South Australia’s filmmakers and it is exciting to take this specially-curated program to the heart of Europe’s cultural life”.
