The South Australian Film Corporation is pleased to announce that South Australian feature film Hotel Mumbai has been nominated for a Ruby Award, the state’s highest honour recognising excellence in the arts and cultural sector.

The film, which had its Australian premiere at the 2018 Adelaide Film Festival, has been nominated for the Best Work or Event within a Festival Award.

Run by South Australia’s Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Ruby Awards are South Australia’s premier event to honour the best of the state’s arts and cultural sector.

Named after late arts patron, Dame Ruby Litchfield, the annual awards recognise artistic excellence, creative achievement, innovation, community involvement and inspirational leadership.
