DEADLINE EXTENDED to 5.00pm ACST 3 June, 2020.

Federal Government support for the screen sector is under review with a call for submissions in response to a new options paper launched last month by Federal Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts the Hon Paul Fletcher MP.

The Supporting Australian Stories on Our Screens Options Paper, drafted by Screen Australia and ACMA, contemplates options for major reforms of the Federal Government’s various screen sector support mechanisms, and is open for submissions until 12 June, 2020.

The SAFC is preparing a formal submission to the options paper, and we are seeking your assistance.  We are calling on SA screen businesses, practitioners, creatives, sole traders and all members of the sector to share information with us to inform our response, and ensure we accurately reflect the relevancy of Federal Government support measures for our South Australian industry.

We have launched the SA Screen Industry Survey for you to have your say, get involved and help us to best represent the interests of the SA screen sector in our official submission to the Federal Government’s options paper.

The SAFC believes it is critical for all South Australian screen businesses and practitioners to have their say in the future of Federal government funding for screen. Click the button below to take the survey and help us to represent you.

The survey closes 5.00pm ACST, Wednesday 3 June, 2020.
