Federal Government finding new approach to funding Indigenous arts and languages
22 June 2015
Following on from announcement by the Federal Minister for the Arts on 31 March about a new approach to funding Indigenous arts and languages, a funding round has just opened under the Indigenous Languages and Arts (Projects) stream.
The Projects stream will provide funding of up to $100,000 (GST exclusive) per project per year for the development, production, presentation, exhibition or performance of Indigenous arts projects that showcase Australia’s traditional and contemporary Indigenous cultural and artistic expressions, increase audience engagement with Indigenous arts and contribute to a strong sense of cultural identity and pride.
The round will close on 17 July.
