Calling all South Australian game developers! Heading to MIGW 2026? Get the most out of your week with this free online workshop led by games industry veteran Jon Cartwright.
Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) is Australia’s biggest games industry gathering, catering to all professional audiences and experience levels, from solo developers to major studios.
The workshop will be split into two sessions, MIGW Overview (10am–12pm) and The Business Side of MIGW (1pm–3pm).
This event will be held on Zoom, with a link to be sent out to the meeting to all registrants.
Overview (10am–12pm)
This session will cover:
- Travel tips, transfers and accommodation
- Professional networking
- Goal setting
The Business Side of MIGW (1pm–3pm)
This session will cover
- Pitching to publishers and investors at Play Now and/or GCAP
- Maximising your presence at PAX Aus
- Setting and measuring metrics for success at PAX Aus
Eligibility
This is an open workshop for anyone who fits the following criteria:
- You must be a South Australian resident, aged 18 or over;
- You must NOT be a part-time or full-time student;
- You must be actively working on a digital game.
This event is presented by the SAFC with assistance from CreateSA.
