Call for Applicants: ADG Business of Directing Workshop

Presented by the Australian Directors Guild, The Business of Directing workshop is a two day workshop held in Melbourne from 16 & 17 June, covering everything you need to know to be a professional director.
Panel speakers include directors Peter Castairs, Simon Wincer and Fiona Banks along with professional screen practitioners including editors, production designers, cinematographers and representatives from Marshalls + Dent + Wilmoth Lawyers and Media Super.
The SAFC will provide up to three South Australian based directors with a ticket to attend the workshop plus travel stipend of $350. Applicants must be available to travel to Melbourne for the event 16 and 17th of June and pay for their own expenses beyond the stipend provided.
Eligibility
The two-day workshop is designed for those intending to work as a professional director. Applicants must be a South Australian resident and credited as director on at least one short film or piece of short form content which has played at a festival or been broadcast.

Interested SA based Directors need to submit their CV and a one page document on why they want to attend and how this would benefit their careers to [email protected] by Monday 11 June 2018.
