Applications for Doing It Differently! now open!

The inaugural Doing It Differently initiative provides project development funding for fiction projects that utilise a fresh approach to the current dominant industrial model of production. 

Doing it Differently is in direct response to the Raising Films Report launched by WIFT Australia which details the experiences of parents and carers in the screen industry and the need to develop family friendly approaches to the methodology around creating content for the screen. The SAFC invites all applicants to allow us to share their proposed methodology with Deb Verhoeven and UTS so that new models can be shared freely. Your project concept would remain entirely confidential but the methodology would be shared in a Commons approach, with due credit given to each producer applicant.
