Yasemin Sabuncu
Yasemin Sabuncu is an award-winning multi-disciplinary artist, director, writer, actor, and creative producer blending comedy, performance, and storytelling across film, art, and new media. With experience in tech, gaming, web3, and app development, she explores identity, technology’s impacts, and collective liberation. Recent achievements include Adelaide Film Festival/Samstag Museum $100,000 Expand Lab commission (2025) and AIDC Leading Lights 2025. She’s developing a TV series Sick Bitch, and a documentary Saving Face, investigating how beauty-tech and self-optimization culture commodify identity. She aims to create powerful stories amplifying underrepresented voices.
