AFTRS & SAFC launch Talent Camp SA

The South Australian Film Corporation in partnership with Screen Australia and the Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS) announces TALENT CAMP SA, part of a new national workshop program for emerging storytellers and screen content creatives from diverse backgrounds across Australia.
TALENT CAMP SA is part of a series of workshops that will take place around the country focusing on screen story development, producing and career pathways. The week long workshop will take place in Adelaide 6-10 November 2017 at Adelaide Studios and will be run by highly esteemed industry experts producer Kath Shelper (Black Comedy, Samson & Delilah, Ruben Guthrie) and story developer Brita McVeigh.
TALENT CAMP SA is calling out for applicants from diverse under-represented groups in the screen industry with specific reference to cultural background, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, geographic disadvantage and socio-economic status. Applications are open to participants who are passionate about storytelling, have something original to say and are interested in exploring a career in screen media. Applicants will have produced work across any creative platform, for example, screen, theatre, spoken word, podcasting, photography, and YouTube.
