Hardened farmer and devoted family man, Adam Wilson, after discovering the last of his livestock have been mauled to death on his farm by a pack of wild dogs, can do nothing but watch as his dreams of continuing the family business are shattered. Furthermore, the arrival of a bank representative at their farmhouse door announcing the foreclosure of their mortgage couldn’t come at a worse time. Angry and defiant, Adam sees the banker off his property, reassuring his saddened wife Carla and their two children Sophia and Kyle that they aren’t going anywhere. But shortly after darkness falls, unsuspecting shadows begin to lurk outside their farmhouse. A pack of wild dogs are preparing to close in, thirsty for blood and ready to attack...Through a series of frightening and bloody encounters with the pack of vicious beasts, Adam and Carla, in survival mode, are forced to protect their two children to make it through the night. Despite her damaged confidence and disability, in a chance moment of opportunity she is eventually drawn back to dance, becoming an inspirational Artistic Director at Restless Dance Theatre, an Adelaide based dance company working with young disabled people. MICHELLE is a heart warming and uplifting story for a TV and film festival audience that offers an insight into the world of dance and disability and the liberating power of art.
