03.02 INTERSTATE BUSINESS TRAVEL

what events are eligible?
Interstate Business Travel funding supports screen practitioners to travel to either: 
    /    appropriate interstate market meetings or markets to progress their projects towards production 
         or 
    /    key festivals and awards ceremonies where they are being recognised for their work.

MARKET MEETINGS
Market meetings could include those with relevant agencies, financiers, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, production companies, producers, executive producers, casting agents and creative agents.

FESTIVAL EVENTS & AWARDS
Funding is provided to attend the following festivals or awards: Flickerfest, St Kilda Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, AFI awards, ATOM Awards, IF Awards and Tropfest. Other festivals, awards and markets will be considered on a case-by-case basis where the festival has significant industry credibility or presents significant development opportunities.

who is eligible?
In addition to the eligibility criteria stated in the General Guidelines, the following eligibility guidelines apply for travel funding.

MARKET MEETINGS
Interstate Business Travel funding is open to credited South Australian based writers, producers, directors and digital media practitioners who: 
    /    are a copyright owner of at least three (3) projects in development or a genuine market interest in 
         at least one (1) project 
    /     would benefit from meeting with key industry stakeholders to progress these projects financially

FESTIVAL EVENTS & AWARDS
Filmmakers, digital media practitioners and key heads of department who are resident and professionally based in South Australia and are nominated for an award at a major film festival.

when can I apply?
To be eligible, Interstate Business Travel applications need to be submitted to the South Australian Film Corporation at least 15 business days prior to departure to an event.
