what events are eligible? Workshops, conferences, courses or other industry related events that: / provide professional development or career enhancement and / develop the applicant’s skills and ability to contribute to and work within the South Australian industry. Events that are already supported by the South Australian Film Corporation through Screen Culture or other funding initiatives are not eligible for Practitioner Development funding.
who is eligible? South Australian based writers, producers, directors and digital media practitioners who have projects in development and will benefit from expanding their professional networks and skills at national industry courses, conferences and events. Eligible applicants will: / have a relevant track record / demonstrate a commitment to working in the South Australian film, television or digital media industry and / have a minimum of one relevant project in development Preference will be given to applicants who have organised relevant industry meetings in conjunction with the event in order to market their projects.
when can I apply? Applications will be accepted at any time. To be eligible, however, Practitioner Development funding applications must be submitted to the South Australian Film Corporation at least 20 business days prior to the event.
