The South Australian Film Corporation's Locations Liaison service helps producers to source viable South Australian locations, facilities and crew.
This free and confidential location enquiry service allows us to tailor our support to suit your project needs. We have been working hand in glove with producers from around Australia and the world for more than 40years and as a result have significant experience and expertise to draw upon.

Inbounds and Recces
We also assist with coordination of logistics, transport and accommodation for inbounds and location recces with some financial assistance also available in exceptional cases.
Where permits are required, we assist you to find the right person to speak to within local councils, national parks, state government authorities, indigenous groups and emergency services. We pride ourselves on having developed film friendly relations with these authorities over more than 40 years of developing South Australia's film and television production capability.

Entertainment Visas in Australia
All non-residents working on films in Australia need a temporary work visa for the duration of their stay.
There are two main types of visa:
Business Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) –Evisitor
Entertainment Visa (Subclass 420).
Visa fees may apply
Visa applications may take up to 3 months to process.
Sponsorship is necessary for some subclass 420 visas.
Consultation with the union is required for some subclass 420 visas.
Approval from the Federal Minister for the Arts is required to import foreign performers.
Health, health insurance and character requirements may apply.
You may need to demonstrate you have adequete means to support yourself while in Australia and have a return airfare.
