Judy Potter Appointed to SAFC Board
The South Australian Film Corporation today announced the appointment of Judy Potter to the South Australian Film Corporation Board for a three-year term. Ms Potter’s appointment follows the retirement of outgoing board member Tony Clark, who is stepping down after five years. Tony Clark is the director of Rising Sun Pictures and an Emmy award-winning, and Australian Cinematographers Society award-winning, cinematographer.
Judy Potter is Chairperson of The Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium and the inaugural Adelaide Central Market Authority. She is also the Director and State President of Musica Viva and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Judy has also been engaged by the joint venture HYLC (Hansen & Yuncken - Leighton Contractors) since early 2009 as a consultant on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer of SA Great, Director/CE of Carclew Youth Arts Centre, and the South Australian Youth Arts Board, Consultant to Arts SA/Minister for Arts on the ‘start up ’ and implementation of Windmill Performing Arts Company, Trainer in Management, leadership and group work for DEFET.
