South Australian Film Corporation supported short film, A Small Town Problem (Writer/Director Dave Wade, Producer Alexandra Blue, DOP/Co-Producer Maxx Corkindale) tells the story of a young boy who accidentally shoots a stranger with his father’s gun. The nonchalant townsfolk of the small town in which the incident occurs choose to do a ‘cover up’ as quickly as possible – so they can get back to doing whatever it was they were doing before the tragic accident happened.

The first stage of the SAFC’s Digital360Lab kicked off last weekend. Lab participants were introduced to each team’s project and initial one-on-one mentoring sessions with lab mentors Gary Hayes and Mike Jones took place. All before the lab goes into full swing this coming April. Watch this space for information about the series of lab sessions presented from April through to August this year that will be open to all interested practitioners.
