At the Third Australia-China Film Industry Forum in Shanghai, a landmark co-production agreement was signed between Shandong Film and TV Media Group, a state owned film and television powerhouse in the Shandong province of China, and AMPCO Films, a South Australian film production company that in 2010 made the first film co-production under the treaty between the Australian and Chinese governments.

The SAFC is seeking your input into Phase 3 of the Strategic Review of SAFC Industry Programs.
At its June 17 meeting the SAFC Board approved the draft set of Program Funding Guidelines for distribution to industry for Phase 3 consultation - the final stage of the Strategic Review of SAFC Programs. The SAFC therefore invites the industry to now provide final feedback on the draft Program Funding Guidelines.

As you will no doubt be aware the SAFC has been conducting a Strategic Review over the past six months, which has included a comprehensive review of its funding programs. Extensive stakeholder consultation has been undertaken during this time, and submissions from both individuals and organisations have been received. The DRAFT Program Guidelines will be released for Industry feedback shortly.

The internationally renowned Sydney Film Festival (SFF) is one of the world's longest-running film festivals, and this year its celebrates its sixtieth year. The 12-day festival screens feature films, documentaries, short films and animation from around the world and opened on Wednesday night and runs through to Sunday 16 June 2013. There are three films in the program that have a connection to South Australia.
